Brown County Breakdown (8- 12th grade)
Brown County Breakdown - Cuckoo's Nest - Bonaparte's Retreat fiddle tunes with each instrument featured on melody, includes piano.
Tunes are played in twin and triple fiddle harmony with a strong backbeat.

Cajun Fiddle Medley (7- 9th grade)
Happy One Step - Tourne Tourne - Jole Blond
includes washboard, triangle, accordion (or piano).
Has some tricky Cajun bowings and accents.

Celtic Juggernaut (8- 12th grade)
Star of the County Down - Highlands - The Rakes of Kildare - The Wise Maid - Gravel Walk
Celtic fiddle tunes with each instrument featured on melody.
Each tune is more challenging, the first 3 intermediate level, last 2 advanced. The medley can be stopped after the 3rd tune for the Celtic Juggernaut Junior. Includes piano. Optional bodhran (Irish drum) before Wise Maid.

Featuring all instruments on melody, June Apple is a triple fiddle breakdown
for 2 violins and 1 viola. Ending with Fire on the Mountain,
adding line dancers makes for an impressive concert.

 Commissioned by Dave Klein November 2003 for the Kearney High School Orchestra. Selected orchestra at Nebraska Orchestra Teachers Conference Lincoln, Nebraska

This suite has challenging parts for the cello in movements 1,2,4, with a sweet trio for harp violin and viola in the middle. The final polka is lively with 3rd position work for the violins, and the octave E harmonic.
